Shenzhen's new underground commercial street near Luohu Port opens

The underground commercial street closest to the Luohu Port is here!

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Integrated Commercial Street is located on the first level underground at Luohu, connecting Luohu Port, Luohu Train Station and Shenzhen Metro Line 1 Luohu Station.

It combines retail and dining and is set to become a new landmark for Hong Kong residents to eat, drink, and shop when traveling to the north.

The first stop for Hong Kong residents crossing the border

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Integrated Commercial Street (深鐵匯坊丨深港融合商業街) is collectively established by Shenzhen Rail Commerce and Everbright Assets and officially opened on August 25th.

Located on the first-level underground at the Luohu hub, it's a large underground commercial street with an area of 1,000 square meters, connecting Luohu Port, Luohu Train Station and Shenzhen Metro Line 1 Luohu Station, neighboring Line 9's Renmin South Station.

It is the "golden channel" connecting Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated commercial street houses over 50 brand stores covering retail, dining, convenience, and other sectors, providing a convenient, diversified, and high-quality consumption space for Shenzhen and Hong Kong passengers.

The Luohu District plans to build a gourmet street for Hong Kong residents.

In the Hong Kong People's Food Street, the shops are all popular brands among Hong Kong people, catering to the needs of different diners.

Some shops in the district have extended their business hours to keep in line with the closing time of the port for the convenience of Hong Kong residents to take away food.

Manager Liu of KUMO Cheese Cake told the media that since the shop officially opened in early August, a very high proportion of customers have been from Hong Kong, and there is often a long queue, especially on weekends.

To make it more convenient for customers, the closing time is extended and in time with the closing time the port, and a mini programme for ordering has also been introduced to reduce waiting time.

Shenzhen-HK Integrated Commercial Street Special Services Centre for HK residents

Besides the food street, the Shenzhen-HK Integrated Commercial Street is also providing a low-cost start-up platform for young people from Shenzhen and Hong Kong, helping HK people to start business in Shenzhen.

In response to the needs of Shenzhen and Hong Kong customers, the commercial street has launched a "HK residents service center", offering a series of convenient services, like Unicom and mobile service points, and also offering intimate communication solutions for Hong Kong residents.

There also Shenzhen-Hong Kong driving schools to provide convenient transportation services for Shenzhen and Hong Kong residents and tourists.
