Spring is here and it's time to enjoy the flowers. Recently, plum blossoms are in full bloom in various areas of Shenzhen, forming a sea of absolutely beautiful and romantic flowers.
This article has prepared 5 good places in Shenzhen for everyone to enjoy plum blossoms. Let's check them below!
Shenzhen North Station Centre Park
A few days ago, the flower show with the theme of weeping plums was officially opened in Shenzhen North Station Centre Park (深圳北站中心公園).
Over 300 weeping plum trees made a dazzling appearance, cleverly dotted throughout the park, weaving one romantic waterfall of flowers after another, which is very spectacular.
It is understood that weeping plum trees generally grow in Japan and are a rare species of plum blossom.
Their large branches grow horizontally and slope downwards, with the small branches hanging lightly and gracefully.
The tree canopy spreads like an umbrella, making it stand out among many plum blossom species and becoming one of the focal points for appreciation.
Besides appreciating the plum blossoms, Shenzhen North Station Centre Park also includes an orchid boutique exhibition, plum blossom printing, drinking plum wine, and other non-heritage handicraft experiences and flower-related events, immersing everyone in this refreshing spring plum forest scene.

Shenzhen Pinghu Ecological Park
Just like Shenzhen North Station Centre Park, Pinghu Ecological Park (平湖生態園), also located in Longgang District, is another great place in Shenzhen to appreciate plum blossoms.
As early as mid to late January, white plum blossoms have already been blooming here, making it the earliest place in Shenzhen for plum blossoms.
The plum blossoms in Pinghu Ecological Park are mainly concentrated in Qiuyue Square.
From the east gate of the ecological park, it takes about a 200-meter walk to reach. On either side of the footpath in Qiuyue Square, the pristine and elegant white plum blossoms add a poetic touch to the park.
Wearing Hanfu while taking pictures with the blossoms would undoubtedly be very photogenic!
It is worth mentioning that Pinghu Ecological Park is also close to Gankeng Ancient Town. If you are planning to appreciate plum blossoms here can also visit the ancient town, wrapping up the day with a pleasant tour.

In addition to the largest waterfall in Shenzhen, it also features streams and valleys, making it an excellent place to cool off in the summer.
Starting around late January each year, the thousand-acre plum garden of Maluan Mountain begins to bloom.
Over ten thousand plum trees have been planted around "Mei Pavilion", Maluan Old Walled Village, and Gaozhen Reservoir.
In the warm spring sun, the faint fragrance of the plum blossoms wafts through Maluan Mountain’s plum garden, with pink and white flowers dotting the landscape, creating a romantic sea of flowers.
Climbing up to "Mei Pavilion", one can take in the entire view of the plum garden and the mountain scenery, witnessing the spectacle of "blossoming plum flowers at every turn".

The garden features a wide variety of plum blossoms, which is fascinating.
With its wide variety of plum blossoms, the bloom period in the plum garden lasts longer than other places, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the plum blossoms until March.
Additionally, the plum trees here are relatively short, making it easier to take close-up photos with the various plum blossoms.
For those who want to explore and enjoy a wide variety of plum blossoms up close, Futian Plum Garden is an excellent choice for Hong Kong residents!

Strolling in the park, layers upon layers of white plum trees spread out, the buds on the branches look like white snowflakes fluttering in the wind, and the air is filled with the faint and elegant fragrance of plum blossoms from time to time.
