Lianhuashan Park: Bougainvillea Blossoms
In Shenzhen, March and April are the best time for viewing bougainvillea. In Lianhuashan Park of Futian district, there lies a secret bougainvillea garden called Yuxiu Garden.
Inside the garden, the bougainvillea blooms in red, pink, and pale yellow, turning the hundred-meter-long floral corridor into a flower-like "waterfalls", and creating a visually stunning effect.
There are three windmills in the park, and the bougainvillea in front of them are eye catching that you can take photos from any angle under the sunlight.
There are also multiple circular arch corridors decorated with flowers, being there you will like just in the secret wonderland.
Peach blossoms are another highlight! In Lianhuashan Park, over 500 peach trees create a pink sea of flowers, offering breathtaking scenery.
Fuyong Lixin Lake Park: China roses in full bloom
Known as the most beautiful "Little West Lake" in Shenzhen, the China Rose Garden of Lixin Lake Park offers a sprawling sea of rose-like beauty.
Located in the Fuyong subdistrict of Baoan district, the flower sea stretches nearly a hundred meters along the lakeside and in front of the Jian Yue Book Bar, with its colorful China roses complementing the book bar to create a beautiful picture.
In the Peninsula Flower Sea at Lixin Lake Park, tens of thousands of China roses sway in the wind. The 2,000 square meters of flower domain, with its colorful China roses set against green leaves, is exceptionally vibrant.
The lovely little floral arrangements constantly refresh visitors' perceptions of China roses.
At sunset, the shimmering lake surface in the park is very beautiful. The lake in the front and the flower sea behind give a feeling of being in a mountain field.
Shenzhen Xiangmi Park: Firecracker flower
Located in the Xiangmi Lake area, there is Xiangmi Park where firecracker flowers are blooming explosively. The orange flower walls are refreshing.
The thousands of metres of firecracker flowers are like flames and fall like a waterfall. Standing under the flowers, you will be impressed and every shot taken are truly great.
The firecracker plant is perennial in the borage family (Boraginaceae) native to Eastern Asia. The name firecracker comes from its flowers that are shaped like fireworks and often have bright colours resembling them too.
When firecracker flowers bloom, they look like strings of firecrackers hanging on the branches. When looking from a distance, they look like flames, and up close, they are brilliantly dazzling.
The visual impact of entire clusters of firecracker flowers is particularly striking.
Shenzhen Guangming Farm: Rapeseed flower fields
Located in Guangming Town, the Guangming Farm features 400 Mu (about 270,000 square meters) of rapeseed flower fields blooming on the land.
The layers of golden flowers emerge like waves, and standing among them feels like being in a paradise.
Here, you can also take a lovey classical mini train shuttling through the rapeseed flower fields. The park also offers camping, fruit and vegetable picking, and to experience the beauty of nature.
Fuquan Road: Tabebuia trees
When you come to Longhua District in Shenzhen to see the purple tabebuia trees, the route is very simple, basically focusing on the vicinity of Qinghu Metro Station.
Tabebuia tree, also called the trumpet tree, is a spectacular showy flowering tree with pink, light purple, or bright yellow flowers.
Tabebuia trees thrive in cold to warm in China and the flowers are purple to pink which add a sense of romantic to garden landscapes.
Besides the Qinghu Metro Station, you are suggested to visit Xinghe ICO (Longhua branch). There are also hundreds of meters of purple trumpet trees outside the ICO mall.
They look beautiful not only during the day but also create a great atmosphere at night, when the light up.
The purple trumpet trees in Shenzhen Talent Park, which bloomed early this year, still show traces of lush flowers to this day. It is a good photo-taking suggestion when Tabebuia trees are seen with famous "Spring Bamboo" building (China Resources Headquarters).
Xiaoshashan in Shenzhen Bay Park: Eranthemum pulchellum
The eranthemum pulchellum has been the most famous spots in Shenzhen for its romantic blue-purple color! It is also named as Blue Sage.
The viewing period for it is from February to April. In Shenzhen Bay Park, you can see a large purple flower sea from a distance, which is truly fantastic.
The flowers will look even more saturated and beautiful after the rain.
