Foshan Asian Art Park is a civic park with the cultural characteristics of Lingnan water village.

The park is surrounded by green trees and has a quiet environment. It makes use of design elements such as round arches and stone bridges to create an art garden with an Asian artistic style.

Walking past the weeping willows at the park entrance, it won't take you long to notice Zen Lotus Island (荷花禪島), which attracts many photographers and tourists dressed in Hanfu to capture the enchanting lotus on film.

Zen Lotus Island has more than 10 lotus ponds, covering an area of about 20,000 square meters.

The park has a timed spray system installed around the lotus pond, enclosed by quaint architecture, making the entire spot feel like a paradise.

From 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., the park sprays mist every 45 to 50 minutes, creating a widespread, permeating misty cover.

Visitors can experience this ethereal mistiness while standing by the lotus pond, on the small bridge, or within the pavilion.

As the lotus blooming season lasts all summer, visitors can see the beauty of different varieties of lotus flowers at different times.

For instance, the pink "Space Lotus No. 36" has huge blossoms of a light red color, and its lotus pods are numerous and slightly concave, easily catching the eye.

Meanwhile, the white "Zhongshan Lotus", backed by verdant lotus leaves, boasts delicate and eternally elegant blossoms that are stunning yet not ostentatious.

The brightest "star" of the lotus pond must be the twin lotus flower (並蒂蓮).

It is two lotus flowers growing at the end of a single stem, with the two tips joined together, which is very special.

Twin lotus flowers are considered a rarity among lotuses. They are said to occur only about one in a hundred thousand times.

They are also seen as the "twins" of the plant world, thus attracting many photography enthusiasts to capture their true form.
