The Holistic Approach to National Security encompasses 20 major fields, including Political Security, Military Security, Homeland Security, Economic Security, Financial Security, Cultural Security, Societal Security, Science and Technology Security, Cybersecurity, Food Security, Ecological Security, Resource Security, Nuclear Security, Overseas Interests Security, Outer Space Security, Deep Sea Security, Polar Security, Biosecurity, Artificial Intelligence Security, Data Security.
The Holistic Approach to National Security emphasises a macroscopic and comprehensive perspective to fully understand, implement, and advance the overall security of the nation.
On July 1, 2015, the 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress passed the "State Security Law of the People's Republic of China", designating April 15th each year as "National Security Education Day".
The aim is to raise national security awareness among the public, create a strong atmosphere for maintaining national security, and enhance the ability to prevent and withstand security risks.
