China's first C919 aircraft rolled off assembly line

On November 2, 2015, China's first domestically produced C919 aircraft was officially assembled and rolled out at the manufacturer's base in Shanghai.

That morning, a C919 aircraft with theme colour of blue and green was fully revealed to the world. Thus, after 7 years of design and development, the C919 officially rolled out, marking the completion of major fuselage docking and airborne system installations, and it was ready for ground testing.

Additionally, it indicated that the development of the C919 had achieved a significant milestone, laying a solid foundation for its first flight.

The C919 is China's medium and short-range commercial airliner with its own intellectual property rights.

The standard range model has a design range of 4,075 kilometres, and the extended range model has a design range of 5,555 kilometres, which can meet the operational needs of airlines on different on a wide range of routes.

The C919 has 168 seats in the basic full economy class layout and 158 seats in the mixed class layout.

It has the characteristics of "safer, more economical, more comfortable, and more environmentally friendly". Compared to its competitors, it has a significant advantage in cabin space, offering airlines more layout options and providing passengers with a better flight experience.

In the future, various versions such as stretched, shortened, extended-range, freighter, and business models can be developed based on the basic model.
