Wujiang Village (烏江寨), located near Shangji Town, Bozhou District, Zunyi City, Guizhou, is only about an hour's drive from Zunyi Station.

Although it is not far from the city centre, it is definitely a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Wujiang Village is located among high mountains and strange peaks, with the Wujiang River (烏江) running through the village.

The climate is moist and cool all year round, the landscape is beautiful, the vegetation is lush, and the environment is tranquil and natural, making people feel relaxed and happy.

However, what most captivates people is the unique northern Guizhou riverside scenery of Wujiang Village.

The Wujiang River flows through the village like a jade ribbon, on both sides are stilted buildings standing in rows.

They follow the winding and undulating mountains, layer upon layer, reflecting each other with the terraced fields around, forming a beautiful rural painting, full of the scent of spring.

Firstly, it is a workshop of making unique flower papers!

After laying your favourite flowers and plants on the not-yet-dried paper pulp, which is then processed in the old-fashioned way and dried naturally, each piece of paper will give birth to a different pattern of flowers and plants, which is very special.

Apart from making flower paper, there are many other traditional workshops in Wujiang Village where everyone can "show off" their skills, such as plant dyeing and bamboo weaving.

Apart from sightseeing and entertainment, of course, can't be without special snacks.

At the time of Qingming, Wujiang Village will launch a spring limited qingtuan (green dumplings) snack, called "Qingming Ba" (清明粑). This qingtuan has a soft outer skin, a savory filling, a bite full of freshness, as if eating spring into the stomach.

In addition, you can taste Guizhou specialities such as five-colored glutinous rice, scraped pot soup, and sour fish soup all in Wujiang Village.
